Reception and hospitality: stories in the pamtingsof Jacopo Bassano and his workshop Great 16th and 17th century Veneto art on display in Jesolo. The stunning blend of religious stories and everyday rural lite proved immensely popular among the Veneto aristocracy and the courts of Europe. Reflection on the topics of reception and hospitality is encouraged by seven paintings by the renowned master of Veneto Manneri-sm Jacopo Bassano (1515 - 1592) and the artists from his workshop, including his sons Francesco Bassano the Younger, Giovanni Battista da Ponte, Leandro Bassano, and Girolamo da Ponte. Completing the selection of pieces on show are 20 engravings by leading Italian and European artists that are based on the works of the Bassano family.
